Cavitts Creek Park Campground is located in Tazewell County, Virginia.  We can meet all of your camping needs from tents to RV's, primitive camping, and full bath house accessibility.  Also available is a shelter for all of your day camp family gatherings, parties, or just some time away from the hustle and bustle of work.  Cavitts Creek Park Campground offers a quite, breathtaking retreat for fun and relaxation.  You can spend the day relaxing, fishing, walking through on the trails adjacent to your campsite,  or just a day allowing the kids to run and play on the playground. While enjoying your camp fire, if you find that you have forgotten your marshmallows, the Town of Tazewell is only a few minutes drive away.

Location:

Cavitts Creek Park is located in Tazewell County, Virginia.  To get here  from I-77, take the Bluefield exit and turn onto Rte 52 South to Rte 19 S/460 W.  Travel approximately 15 miles toward the Town of Tazewell.  Take the second Tazewell exit, turn left onto Lake Witten Rd. and go approximately 2 miles, turn right onto Recreation Rd.  Go Approximately 1/2 mile and your camping adventure awaits.

RV Sites - flat camping sites, water and electric hook ups
Bathhouse- 2 full service houses with showers
Playground- Large child friendly playground
Boat Rental- pedal boats and "john" boats
Boat Ramp- 2 boat ramps for electric motor driven boats
Picnic Shelters- 6 large covered picnic areas

Fishing :

Largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, sunfish, catfish, stocked trout, and walleyes plus numerous other species.  You must have a Virginia license.  A trout stamp is required between October 1 to June 15 to fish.  To purchase a license go to Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries .

$5.00 per night per tent
$7.00 per night for primitive RV site
$15.00 per night for full service RV site

Quiet Hours are from 11pm to 7am

Tazewell County is seeking part time Workforce Services Representative to perform assessment, orientation and customer focused services to include training for the improvement of skills in the areas of computer skills; web navigation; email; resume writing; interview preparation; networking and job search strategies and tools.  Knowledge of employer recruitment procedures; experience preparing and coaching applicants in job search strategies; extensive knowledge of web based job search, resume preparation and on-line career search.  Extensive knowledge of community and educational services available and experience in referral practices and procedures.   Experienced in group and individualized training. Must possess excellent organization, computer and customer service skills.  Prefer experience in an employment services program or career advisement position.
